Nor Cal Wheeling, Camping and BS - 2018

If anyone is looking for some well worn Toyo MT's, I will have a set of 5 available starting this afternoon. 285/75R17. They still have about ¼" tread depth left, no punctures or patches. Will post pics later today.

I am upgrading to General Grabber X3 - 315/70R17's.

If I had the space too put them I would grab them today lol! My wife won’t be happy with a 3rd set of tires in the yard.. I don’t even know what I’m doing with the other set right now haha
 
Anybody wanna do meet at Folsom lake? I haven’t been since summer so idk if any trails are open. Other wise I’m open to suggestions. I figure this may as well be the last weekend to go wheelin before I have to dedicate my weekends to packing for the move to montana.

There really isn’t any TRAILS at Folsom but there’s off-road areas at dotons point in granite bay

Might be down, although.. I was there this past week and there's not all much to do, wheeling wise.. There are some mud pits and water crossings about 6" deep, but I thought they hand out tickets for playing in the mud?

Fairly certain most of you have been through already, it's a koo spot I like to hit it's about 2-3 miles inside along the Yuba river. Wheeling can happen there as the trail for Fodryce and Signal are accessible from there. Little update on the trails I've been through, there are water crossings that are decently high. I'm on 35s and water covered my tires just to give you an idea. I welcome anyone who wants to come and have no problem camping in the snow. Elevation is about 5000 and as long as it doesn't heat up too much there will be snow. Later in the week or possibly next week if anyone wishes to join and needs to know how to get there I"ll post the route the area or I can come out to the staging area and lead from there. Hope to see y'all out there.

Here is a side by side comparison of the Toyo 285/75R17 to the new General Grabber X3 315/70R17's.

The Toyo's (5) are for sale, name me a resonable price and pock up in West SAC.

These General's are meaty, time for more trimming.

Camping draws near for anyone who wants to go! Either for some day wheeling or even join in on some snow camping. I"ll be heading up there Friday morning with a couple friends. If anyone from now until this weekend decides to join, just send me a PM or if you're in instagram mine is dietsoap and you can send me a message there. I get service out there. Be dope to have a few more people out there just for good ol' campfire drinking.
