My first one I've done, posted over on this form, didn't get 1 reply in a wk. Deleted it, and been doing it with the Tacos.

You personally have been getting these NC guys together and participating and active for the last yr now.
My place is small, not a whole lot of room, only problem.
Besides, I'm not intimidated by these Taco guys, LOL.
Great guys and willing to help others, let alone, fun to run with!

That makes sense. Haha I didn't realize how dead T4R was, until I kept coming on here. But then again, NASIOC(Subaru) is super active in every sub, other than the California sub... Luckily, I made some friends on different forums to which we had weekly wrench/bbq/bsing meetups.

Eh. I don't mind at all. Wrench days are fun, especially being the peanut gallery. And I miss wrenching on shit too. :rofl:

Sawmill road on MET is cool after the winter. It’s moderate at best. At one point there was about a 2 foot diameter tree fell through the trail and that was the hardest part. My wife and I drove through last fall and someone cut the trunk to fit the trail. Towards the end of the trail you drive over a small waterfall. SMALL it’s cool if you have kids TONS of butterflies. I took my daughter there and she had a blast.
 
Well gentlemen. This here is my last weekend here in California, for a while at least. I will be leaving to Montana on tuesday. It’s been fun meeting the few people I’ve met and conversing with everyone here! I will be continuing to check the forum regularly lol due to no family or friends in the wheeling world out there.

I just realized that the summer session doesn't start until a whole week after, on 5/28. So I am heavily debating doing an Eastern Sierras trip, from friday 5/18 right after my exam, until whenever. Lol

I imagine pretty much everyone on here works through the week and has weekends off, no? I'm the opposite, which is actually really great for doing stuff... just not doing stuff with other people. I work Fri-Sun and then am off Mon-Thur so I have tons of time for 3-4 day trips but I usually am doing them solo. I also don't have kids and my wife pretty much could care less what I do so I'm pretty open through the week.

Anyone else have weekdays off?

I work a rotating schedule, currently have sat-mon off. From June until August I’ll be off fri-sun. Then August through October I’ll be off tue-thurs. So I’ll definitely be up for some weekday trips. Ditto on the no kids and wife doesn’t care. Lol

I'd be down to go wheeling on the weekdays if I didn't have class then...

FWIW, I'm planning to head to the Eastern Sierras sometime around 5/18~23, but I'll be able to confirm once my friend figures out their schedule.
