So... I'm taking a game development class, where we build our own game from scratch. Normally done over the course of 4 months, compacted into 6 weeks... Going to be brutal...

Just wondering... Where do you guys go for alignment in the Sac area?
I've always gone to an independent shop for my alignments back in the bay, as I trusted them with getting my shit dialed in especially when I used to Autox. They calibrated their machine often and the tech knew what he was doing, and even gave me some pointers on what alignment might be better suited for my driving style.
Since I don't need any crazy alignment numbers on the 4R, I've been thinking of getting a firestone lifetime alignment... It's cheap in the long run and can go many times(especially needed after wheeling hard). Only problem is that it's heavily dependent on the tech. They might have no clue what their doing, and I won't know when they got the machine calibrated(I can ask, but I doubt they'll say the truth). Also, I've read that firestone isn't all that friendly to modified vehicles.

Well, now that my brother was warmed up from Hollister, we are down to come tag along. Just us and the kids this time. I'll be back from Japan by then and we should be ready.:thumb3:

This looks doable for me. Please include me in the details or post them up here. I would only be in for a day trip, can't get away for an overnight just yet. According to an older book I have, says allow 3-4 hours for the trail, adding travel time (3 hours each way for me) means we'd need an early start! Keep us posted please

How difficult is Corral Hollow? Do you recommend sliders? Still waiting on them to be shipped. But I did get the rest of my suspension in today so I’ll get that installed soon so I can come out and play with you guys. Hopefully it’s not to bad with the KDSS lol...

If that's the case, I might try to throw in Sourgrass again, and see how badly I want to use my oem skids on Slickrock. :lmao:

So should we start a rough game plan for corral hollow, on 7/7 and at least pencil in some tentative times? I have a jeep buddy who wants to go and I've officially gotten clearance for at least a day trip, possibly even an over nighter.
If I had to choose, I'd like to be at the trailhead about 9:30-10 or so. But I'm ok with whatever, including the traditional Starbucks meet 'N' greet prior if we wanted to plan for that. I'm just throwing out a timeframe. We have a month to prepare and organize.

Best spot to meet is the Chevron at Bear Valley Village, air down and head West on 4 the 1/2 miles to the trail head. Obviously, the more vehicles, the longer the run time. For me, I am always up for early.
9 am sounds awesome, back down to the Lube Room for a late lunch.
