Normal to leave aftermarket parts on when totaled?

It's fairly easy to know if you car is totaled in an accident IMO.

If that is the case, can't you just tell the tow truck driver to tow the vehicle to your house. Once you do, unbolt your rack, aftermarket bumpers, fridges, Led light bars. By the time the insurance claims it totaled you will have already unbolted all your aftermarket parts.

If would take me less than a day to do all that. And probably at night or in the morning I would call AAA to have to towed to the nearest body shop since no one wants a totaled leaking vehicle in front of their house.

It's your vehicle you can tow it anywhere you like. Pretty easy to do!

Possibility 1:
Husband bought the 4R without permission, drove it to the 4WD stop for the goodies, then drove it home. Wife shoots him when she sees the bill. Insurance company totals it rather than clean up the blood.

Possibility 2:
Person is clinically depressed and decides to spend all his money (or all his spouses's money) and go out with a bang.
