I'm going to go ahead and change the nose cone oil. Going to do the ole park on a downhill slope, get a syringe with tubing and suck out as much as I can. Replacing with GM supercharger oil. Just for peace of mind. Been running great so far.

Just changed the supercharger oil. Certainly much needed. Parked on a downhill slope, sucked up as much as I could, then refilled. Not too low on oil, just old and disgusting.

Picked the supercharger oil up at the local GM dealership. 12$.

What County

Been a long day at Daniel Boone Byway. Had a phenomenal time and the 4Runner performed flawlessly. Only issue was a broken rear swaybar end link on my buddy's 4Runner. Took the pups with me also, I think they had more fun than I did.

Approximately where is this? I may be interested in driving up from NE Georgia this coming fall to camp. Looks like nice easy trails.

The fiancé got me a great gift for my birthday. Now camping with 2 German shepherds will be quite comfortable.

It seals up around the lift gate really well. I didn't tie it down completely in this picture, but it has straps at the top, bottom and sides. There's elastic around the seal that can be tightened or loosened.

I would much rather have that than a RTT. RTT's must me annoying every time you want to drive somewhere.

The brand is Napier. Here's the model number on the bag.

Super crazy easy to set for as far as a tent goes. Breaks down easy and surprisingly all fits back into the bag haha.

Has a built in lantern hanger inside on top and a nick nack bag on one side.

For just under 300$, you can't beat it.

Very very roomy. Could sleep 4 adults comfortably. Plenty of head room. Front awning (not very large by any means, just a little shade in the entrance). Has double zippers for bug mesh and the outer for privacy. Bottom is made of the durable tarp material.

Starting to get together a list of camping gear we should need. Anyone have any ideas? So far I have cooking, housing, and firearms covered. What kind of little stuff would you all suggest purchasing?

Side note: one of the older guys at the shop gave me this vintage Coleman camping stove for helping him organize his garage awhile back. Been sitting in my garage for months. Got it out and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get it working. He told me I had to pump the plunger up on the side to build pressure up. Works like a freaking charm now. Pretty cool.

Rechargeable spot light to leave plugged into the cargo area outlet

First aid kit

Solar panel setup for small 12v charging needs. Can be made pretty cheap from harbor freight parts

Disposable rain gear.

What do you plan on camping for? Overlanding or camping to do something outside the vehicle such as hiking, kayaking, etc.
My brother in law always have has a small Walmart special ugly stick and small tackle bag with him- something lightweight to consider if you enjoy fishing

Definitely need to go get some lanterns. Going to go get a good medical kit also. Already have my fishing pole and tackle gear if I am somewhere I can fish.

Mainly going to do a lot of hiking, especially with the pups.

Along with that, I'm going to go get a camelpak.

We are planning a trip out to CO to do some off-roading and would love to camp out on the trail or wherever. First time going out to CO for off-roading/camping/hiking, so any info would be great.

RLC WeldFab, the guys who built my front bumper just built me a seriously beefy set of skid plates. Certainly a much needed item, especially for the trip out to CO in the near future. He made it in 3 sections and used the factory skid plate holes.

Got too tired trying to bolt these up myself, so the trans skid will go on tomorrow.

Also, some other much needed armor. My 4XInnovation sliders showed up. Such an easy company to deal with. Ordered them on a Monday and received them that Saturday. Can't wait to get these put on.

I would say that's a worst case scenario. I think they're so popular among us 3rd gen owners that they keep a few sets built already. That's just my assumption though. I've heard others have gotten theirs much quicker also

Got the last skidplate installed. Love how easy these are to install. It will make doing an oil change/working on the underside, easy.

If anyone wants a bumper built and/or skidplates. Hit up RLCWeldFab. Stupid quick turn around times and the quality is superb.

Rig looks awesome man! Did you add anything else besides the supercharger? I'm thinking about getting one but I've heard many people end up adding all kinds of extras and it makes the total cost go way up. Looks like you just dropped it in and called it good?
