Not sure what is blown, but somethings wrong.

So every time I turn right/ go over any dip, go up any curb ext my drivers side front end just gives me this terrible clanking noise, almost sounds like when my rear end was blown out but I just replaced all my suspension! I am now waiting to order my ball joints and all that good stuff because I can only afford to do one of those small replacements , what do you guys think it is?

Don't most people just remove their sway bars? Cause honestly if I don't need it, that noise is scaring the :toilet: out of me..

Check your panhard bar. If it isn't tightened enough, it can shift every time you turn and make aloud knocking sound. I had that until i tightened the panhard nuts better.

don't take this the wrong way but climb under the beast and give a look see. If it's making enough noise to give you that bad feeling I'm guessing there should be some visible damage. If it's the sway bar links or bushings you will know in half an eye fill. Can you replicate the noise by bouncing the truck? Noises can be hell to track down--I spent time and aggravation searching for a random front end squeak to eventually find that it was my hood latch. Not that that is your problem--this site is awesome--someone will chime in with better advise.

I know my hood latch is squeaking as well , but I checked and my bushings for my sway bar are SHOT. So contemplating taking them off or not.

Check you steering rack guide.

Jack you front drivers side tire and see if there is any movement. If your guide cap is a insert hex type it's the old design and not the best. The newer design (~60$) has a protruding hex cap. Quick, easy fix. Helps a lot with steering. Search steering rack guide on here or google.

This will make a bit of a bang on the front left lower.

Also, I've heard before when vehicle suspesnion springs can clang VERY loud. They get spun up and release. Not sure what could have been done with the suspension to make it do that. My old VW autox car did it when I put slicks on because of the added load when cornering hard. Also, the suspension caps were worn.

i had your symptoms pretty much verbatim and i had 2 broken swaybar links. like the other 50 people said, check them =)
