Well, I won't own a 4Runner until September, but I like to research all the vehicles I have thoroughly. Forums are the best way to do it.
My brother in law has made me a deal on his 2000 SR5 T4r. 2K, does that sound fair? It's a nice well equipped and well taken care of, 175,000 mi. (like new, right?) This is our first Toyota, and first 4x4, so I look for a lot of new experiences. Definitely looking forward to this winter in Michigan with the T4r! :lookout:

My 2 cents: $2,000 for a 2000 4WD in good condition is a steal. I bought mine for nearly twice that, and had to fix the door lock actuators, valve cover gaskets, and rear end whine.

Post some pictures when you get a chance. The 3rd Gen T4R are great rigs, with endless possibilities if you want to customize them...
