November 2015 Weekday Run

I know I'm not the only guy with an odd work schedule. I'm going to throw some dates out, and I'd like to see how many guys will be able to participate for a weekday run.

Personally, I'd be down for a solid moderate run.

Would anyone be interested in getting together for a day around the 4-5 or 18-19?

Lol 4 & 5 parent teacher conference
18 & 19 working at night
 
Wednesdays and Thursdays are my days off. So both of those look good. BUT, my schedule might be changing with little notice. Good time of year for Mojave Preserve :biggrin1:

Your pain the a** to try and get out wheeling ..@sentinal threw you some love so you didnt get left out doing a weekday run with optional dates ..and still.:help:

I guess until you post a run idea and date its on you brotha. LOl
 
Wife and I are both off Wednesdays and Thursdays. We just bought an 07' SE 4wd. We're down as long as a stock rig can make the trip.
 
Okay, looks like a few are down for either the 18th or 19th. Can we settle on the 18th? How early/late are we available? I'd like to hit some trails to blow off steam from work and get some fresh air :plane:.

Man overtime is crazy right now... it's feast or famine in my work. So I'm feasting... Plus it's hard with kids schedules, shooting competition and honey do's ....
 
18th dark to dark is fine with me. But I gotta tell you guys, I drive slow like the old fart that I am. Most guys don't like to go as slow as me, except maybe [MENTION=85467]BobsTrail[/MENTION]. Don't want to hold anyone up. If that's not fun for anyone else, no problem, just want to be up front with you all. :wave:

I must be really slow if Chsbrgr mentioned me. Wish I could go, but we moved 950 miles north to Salem. Having a little difficulty finding trails and info here. I don't know what they do with their 4Runners here.

I couldn't resist @Wraith you knew it was coming. And believe me I understand all that, it's called having your priorities in order, good job brotha.
I will let @Sentinel know to go ahead and pencil you for early/mid 2016
we'll check back with you then.

I took a couple of vacation days... soo I'm off for the 13th & 14th... but I took it cuz I needed the 15th & the 16th off...

Soo I hope I can wheel with the guys going to Big Bear or Anza Borrego.

No problem man, your perfect for being the tail guy in comm with lead guy and we will always know who's bringing up rear which allows you to go scenic slow all you want. :peace:
 
[MENTION=84642]Quatre Coureur[/MENTION] Paul or [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] Miah, do you have a suggested destination for this one? I'm figuring that we'd want to meet up a bit later (10ish?) to avoid most of the morning traffic when planning to get this group together.
 
For a weekday run we could do
Berdoo Rd. up to Joshua Tree State Park check that out then shoot out Pinkham Rd. east to a couple trails that go out to Eagle Mountain to some old mines, then shoot over to Desert Center where the 177 and the 10fwy meet and call it a day which puts everyone back on a direct route home.

A really trippy place is Meccatopia in the Orrocopia Mountains Wilderness crazy trails,washes and lil tight finger trails that intertwine all over the place.
A few are Box Canyon Trail, Painted Hills Rd., 4x4 Jeep Trail, Red Cloud Mine Rd.
Godwin Trail, Meccatopia Trail, Hailey Todd Ridge Trail, Billers Bailout, along with many more oh also the well known Bradshaw Trail...theres anything from easy to most difficult out there.
