We running CB or HAM? Also, I'll have my son with me if anyone else is bringing kids. He's generally pretty good about keeping himself occupied otherwise.

Usually Danny and Kevin bring their kids along. I'm bummed that neither of my sons can make it(work n school). So my better half will once again be joining me(even tho she swore off black diamond trails). As for comms, after many years of wheeling together, Danny and I have developed a sophisticated system of grunts, innuendos, wild hand-waving, and intuition. :heh::yell::clap2::smokin: Seriously tho, I don't have anything other than a 2-way Motorola radio that I pick up the CB with. :hiding:

I mean, I have a sun roof so smoke signals aren't out of the question...
I have CB and HAM so I'm good either way, just wanted to check. Pretty small group in comparison to what we usually have.

Hmmm... I too have a sunroof... I'll eventually order one of those $30 fangboi handhelds off Amazon. I suppose the group is small. Most of the time my runs are 4-6 rigs. The first run I ever hosted here, 16 rigs showed up. Then, as the trails got harder, the group got smaller...

I'm currently in Big Bear for a retreat. I may come out for this tomorrow morning. I forgot to bring my walkie though, does anyone have an extra? Also how long is this trail?

You'll be just fine with atrac. I've done this trail 2x with Paul and his crew(Danny C.) both ways. A very fun trail if your tired of just fire roads.

Oh, there was some carnage, wasn't me though until we were airing up and I dropped my phone and shattered the screen. I actually chickened out at the gate keeper, drove around and met everyone on the other side. 3rd gen Danny took some damage to his rig. Everyone else took some to some degree or another just on the first obstacle which was why I decided to go around. I'll have a few pics at some point and some video screwing around at the Holcomb/3N16 gate keeper.

What a beautiful day on the trail! Big shoutout to my homeys Danny and Kevin! Two of the best wheelin' buddies u could ask for. Also mad props to cbr900boy! You took it to a whole new level. I know we pushed u out of your comfort zone but u handled it with style and class. Hopefully we can coax u back out with us again. Drunner97 it was great getting to meet u and your son. I know we'll see each other on the trail soon. Overall, beautiful day, tough trail, great people!

Most of the pics I have are of Kevin, but I have a couple of (LC) Danny as well on the 3n16 gatekeeper. Haven't even gotten started on that video yet but that should be fun to watch. I'll get some stuff up in a few days. Was great meeting everyone. If I didn't have Robbie and wasn't getting ready to go to Death Valley for 5 days I may have tried, but that was a bit out of my comfort zone. dirty 5s are in the back of my mind though now, haha.
