My mom's '99 Limited was over $35k back in late '98 so Toyota has done a decent job keeping prices in check in the last 15 years but you can also tally one up over $45k.
Higher price than a jeep but have you seen the resale prices jeeps or on a loaded Ford Explorers vs same vintage 4Runners. 4Runners (and Toyotas in general) in Colorado appear to be a dime a dozen but their abundance here doesn't seem to translate into cheaper.
