Now Power

Okay, let me begin by saying that even though I have owned numerous Toyota 4wd vehicles, I have never owned a full time 4wd vehicle.
I had to turn around this morning to go back to my son's school and with little room to turn around I just drive through a small ditch. With that being said once my 4R entered the small ditch and became somewhat flexed it felt like I lost power to the gas pedal. I drive a 2003 Limited, 4.7L 4x4 with out the Xreas suspension. I'm thinking maybe traction control slowed me down, but not sure. Any help would be appreciated - and maybe a way to avoid this in the future.

Thanks!

It's the traction control kicking in. If the wheels start to spin it'll turn off power to prevent you from spinning out.

You can lock out that feature...there's a button on the dash to do this.

Okay, just realized that VSC turns off when diff. lock is activated! :jaw drop:

Oops...did I forget to mention the easier method of turning it off lol. The mod is for those of us want to take advantage of the Torsen diff unlocked without all the elctronic nannies. But if your happy with your rig, then thats all that matters!
