How are you liking the 5160s? My rear is shot and am considering over the 5100s.
I have nothing to compare them to. They are better than the old rear shocks I took out, but the car still feels unsettled over large bumps and dips.

Is it really worth it to spend about a grand on these? I'd like to get the right setup the first time around. Debating on kings. Those are at about 2300. I'd rather spend the extra 1300 unless these are truly even remotely competitors..

If i’m not mistaken king’s and bilstein are digressive dampening so they are similar in that aspect. With that said it’s king are rebuildable. $1,300 or more depending on where your source parts is a lot to spend on other stuff. Not everyone needs King or Icon. There is a huge difference between need and want.

True that, I live in Michigan and frequent the silver lake sand dunes. I'd like to go a little crazy over the next couple summers and at some point get the BTF long travel kit. Obviously the bilsteins arent suited for that. So I suppose that in and of itself answers my now seemingly stupid question lol but yeah for kings the rears are 900 and some change for the set and the fronts are 1234.50

I hate it when I read a post and think (I'll make a note of that) and then forget about it when I go to order something... you would have saved me just about $120 bucks if I had bought my 6112 and 5100 from you. :frusty::frusty::frusty:

I reused the OEM strut mount and isolators as they were in perfectly fine condition (and I was already stretching my budget to the point of irritating my wife). So yes, that is the correct aftermarket part and it comes with the isolater attached ~ it's the proper item for this application.
