O ring leak on center diff rear facing

Bummed...

Under 27K miles and this is the first time one of my many Toyota trucks in my history leaked a fluid (any fluid). I was under the truck after doing my oil change and hit the zerks on the driveshafts when I saw a small spot on the center diff where the rear drive shaft connects. I did a quick search and I found this issue but more common on the 4th gen v8s (and Audis). And nothing with my low miles.

Found a great video on replacing it...but since it's under warranty I'm not even going there.

Headed to dealer Monday. It did not help that the new Bronco was unveiled... but then I also watched a bunch of videos on "why not to buy the Ecoboost...".

Oh well. Literally the only grief in 2 years of ownership that the truck has given me grief. After 14 different 4Runners/Tacomas/Tundra (combined) the only one that is headed in for warranty work for a leaking fluid.

Yes... Southwest PA has some great salted/chemically treated roads as you can see!
