On my 2000 SR5 v6 2wd I am getting error p1035 and p1030. Both point to a problem with the o2 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 which I believe I only have 2, one upstream (the one in question) and one downstream (after the cat). I am looking to replace it and have looked at the URD site to see which one I need to be looking for. It appears that I need the Bosch 234-9002. I just want to confirm that this is correct before I pull the trigger at amazon. The URD site kinda gets wonky in the 3rd gen section is the reason I want to be double sure.

And I've been told that it is best to replace both of them at the same time.

You need to confirm whether you are California emissions, auto or manual, and 2.7L or 3.4L for anyone else to verify your choice. Do not assume you are not Cali. just because the truck was sold outside Cal., most 2000's were in fact Cali. emissions regardless of state sold. Count cats (2=Cali.) to be sure.

Only because the rear will likely not last a whole lot longer. I ignored the fact and got an extra 25k out of my rear sensor. I was happy with that. If you do your own work, no reason to rush it. Rears are in a lower temp environment and can last somewhat longer than the fronts.
Looking at my vehicle history report it was originally sold in California and didn't make it to Mississippi until 2003. So I am assuming it is Cali emissions. Is there an easy way to tell other than its original destination?
And I do all my own work so it's not a huge deal to order another o2 sensor later. But I would rather do it all at once if it is cheap enough.

Like I said, count cats. You can also tell from the emissions sticker on the underside of the hood, but they are confusing.
