Sounds like a lot of work. I was hoping I could do it without changing out all my suspension. But who knows, maybe I'll still pull the trigger.

I have bigger tires and when aired down and/or going fast through the desert I love them, but on the highway the acceleration (pre-supercharger) went way down as did my fuel economy. I like the peace of mind that I get from the solid Toyo tires, but I want my acceleration and MPG back that I got with the 33's.

So.... that said those are my feelings on the subject. 34s/35s are a little overated in my opinion/experience.

Haha thanks for calming me down a bit, ya here in Orange County the fuel economy is pretty important but when I move back to Idaho where I have a 3 mile commute to work and when Im not working I will be doing non stop back country exploring they might work out a bit better. But I guess I will re assess this after winter because there will be too much snow to do any 4x4. The thing I need to call and order though is my CBI rear bumper but I hesitant to because right now it will be like $2400 and I have seen in the past them get as low as $1800 so I wondering if I should hold out a couple months and see if a special comes up or just pull the trigger now. I mean I could afford it now but if I did I would be living off PB&J's for a month or so.
 
This is probably a dumb questions but how difficult is it to adjust the front coilovers? Do you just have to take off the front wheel and use the proper tool and turn them to get the ride height you want? I really want to adjust the driver side one to try and get rid of my driver side lean.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the power cutting out is because of the traction control. There is a mod around on here somewhere that allows you to turn it off (vsc off?). I've been meaning to do it myself as the power cut and complete momentum loss is a huge pain in the dunes.

Also, mine never beeps in 4lo ('05 v8). I think that means it's not engaging properly. Are you in neutral when you switch to 4lo?

Great shots! I grew up in Flagstaff. We used to go to Sedona all the time. I was little, but man I miss that place. I'll make it back out one day. Thanks for sharing.
 
Ordered a CBI rear bumper today, I have been trying to save for one of these for so long and a couple times came close and ended up buying something else but finally did it and I'm so stoked. This will probably be the last big mod I do. Now just have to decide on what rear springs to get, I really wanted to metal tech heavy duty long travel springs but they are sold out. Will have to figure something else out.

Anyone have any recommendation on a low profile roof rack to get? Now that I won't be carrying my spare I dont quite need the Baja Rack anymore and wouldnt mind a little more vertical clearance. The Gobi Stealth looks cool but it a fortune.

Check out the Icon progressive rate rear coils. I think that they're very comparable to the MT heavy's. Also, I'm running the MT standards right now with no rear bumper, and I needed a spacer to keep from riding on the bumpstops. I'm not sure the heavy's would be great with a tire-carrier bumper. I think that the icons are a bit stiffer still. And Icon is local, so you could just pick them up!

Also, I love my gobi stealth, but if I could go back, I would strongly consider a Whitson Metalworks rack. Very similar in style, about half the price, and you're supporting a private fabricator!

Morris, I grew up in east Texas and know what you are talking about. I am taking advantage of being stationed out here really close to the desert and building my truck accordingly.

x2 on the whitson metalworks rack, great guy and he will customize it for you.

I've seen two in person and they're beautiful racks. IMO the 'momo special' is the best looking version
 
Installed my CBI bumper today, don't think I can post pics though until i get sturdier springs. Radflo springs are having a little trouble.
