No, spacing the wheels outboard widens the steering swing creating more interference between the tire and body, especially at full lock and when fully stuffed.
Widening my stance is one of the last things I would personally do, and only if necessary.

Yeah, I put 2" spacers on my 3" lift. Definitely had to do a body mount chop. I enjoy the extra width on off camber obstacles and the handling of a sports car for the pavement. Feels glued to the ground. Enjoying the build!! Looking sick!

Maybe I got lucky as the one Superbright LEDs sells works just like factory and the clicking sounds more like a European car, which I prefer.

No, it was plug and play. I didn't have to take the fuse panel out so installation was a breeze.

Picked up a set of "shorter" LC springs than what I'm running now, supposedly...
They have some rust / flaking paint, posted a thread about that
New to me used LC coils
According to this thread
LC coil spring Color codes
they appear to be
19.5" Purple Green White 8 wraps
19" Double Purple Light Blue White 7.5 wraps
I have to double check what's on my truck now, but I'm trying to drop the rear a bit and not need to carry so much weight to level the truck out.
Wondering about treating rust/refinishing once I determine what differences these coils will net me

LolOne would be passenger side one driver. The one with more coils would be driver's side. You can try boiling them in baking soda and water see if it removes the rust..

Google it, baking soda and vinegar are both "home remedies" to remove rust.
In your case, a paste made with baking soda and water can be applied to your rusty spots and left to work on them
I will do the same with a few spots on these coils, for science

Now your getting somewhere. Electrolysis does work. You just said boiling water and baking soda. Granted boiling water and soda my work. I am just skeptical. Now Vingear is an acid so it would eat the iron oxide off. 
I will show you what evopo rust does so you can see. I have several items in it now. One is that rusty flywheel I had.

Temporary portable OBA
I bought an ARB CKMA12 with the Pump Up Kit PN 171302 a while back but haven't chosen a spot on the truck for it yet, however I'm leaning towards the rear cargo area.

Decided to use it now so I made it portable using a 50 cal plastic ammo tote.

Mounted the compressor on a piece of Home Depot particle board from the molded trim section; 5.75" wide x 11.5" long. I mounted the compressor using flat head screws countersunk from the bottom and lock nuts.
Put a 30A resettable circuit breaker inline before the pressure switch.
Added an inline fuse holder to a 12GA battery cable harness
All bundled up, my OBA ToGo fits snugly in the box along with the hose and tire adapter from the Pump Up Kit along with the quick disconnect, T and pressure switch.
The pump is turned on and off using the inline fuse holder after the battery connection is made.
It's a handy setup, the hose easily reaches all 4 corners without the box leaving the front of the truck. The pump can fill a tire from 12 to 33 psi in just under a minute at sea level.
Also, just stepped up to this deflator from the screw-on bleeders that take 10 mins to maybe work. With this deflator you remove the valve stem and deflate each tire in about 30 seconds each, easily reinstalling the valve stem after setting the pressure.

Week / Weekend Update 248,748
Monday through Saturday
Went to the junkyard and got lucky, 2 sets of radio brackets, a perfect over door grab handle in oak, seat base trim and some bolts I needed. I was in and out.
2WD
Re installed factory radio into my 2WD
Removed the roof basket and reinstalled factory crossbars
4WD
Final wired in the fog lights mounted in the 4XI bumper off the headlight dimmer switch and fog relay mod inside the fuse box.
Welded my sliders on with a buddy and painted the welds and frame sides afterwards.

Took a drive to San Diego to pick up a set of Aisin manual ABS hubs, spindles and axles off a forum member today.
He's SASing his rig so I snagged his LBJs to keep as trail spares and a few other items too.
Only caveat, he wasn't able to remove the axles from the spindles. No biggie.
I started cleaning up the spindles and couldn't find my brass drift to knock out the conical washers so I ordered one off Amazon. Sprayed the studs and washers with PB Blaster and let them soak overnight until the drift arrived.
Easily knocked out the conical washers with a nut on the stud and a 3# sledge after watching this classic

Stopped in Carson on the way and picked up a spare pair of 99 headlights. I like having spares of things.
These things are really nice.
All in all, a good week of progress
