October Camping Trip, The Cove #6

We’re mostly packed, just need to put the fridge in the truck and pack my clothes.

I’ll lead a groups at the times below.

Friday noonish, 3ish, back to camp around 5
Saturday: 9ish, lunch in camp, 1ish, back to camp in time for the photo.

As a reminder there is a dessert and drink competition Saturday after dinner, with prizes.

Super excited for this weekend!

Things have been crazy at work lately and I found out I have to work over part of the weekend. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it this year. Super bummed.

I’m sure some groups will be mellow, but you will be surprised where a stock 4runner can go.

I don’t think this has been mentioned, but I suggest everyone remove their running-boards, these could get damaged even on the easiest trails.

In for the Friday 3ish (hopefully, assuming we make it out in time) and all of Sat. Getting excited!

I've still gotta pack, shop and 3D print a couple mounts. Might be a long night...

I kind of did.... went up that spot where Gabe almost flipped last year.... my valve stem jammed into a rock and the cap broke and part of it got jammed inside the valve stem creating a leak. But Doug fixed it with duct tape and a new cap. Wheeled on it just fine the rest of the day and changed the tire back at camp. And.... drum roll..... I had to pull Scott out of a nice mud hole. [emoji50] He said it was his first time ever getting really stuck. Found some new trails we haven't been down before. I have to see if I can get my SD card to work.... it may be corrupted [emoji58] So all the pictures and video I took before the group photo... may be gone.

We did bug out late last night as our air mattress deflated and we didn't want to pack up in the rain. Great time this year, sorry you missed it! I think we had 25 total trucks (a few weren't in the photo).

Well, the adventure continues! This will be the first November in recent memory that I don't have to fix dents or bumpers lol
I think I have a bad CV though...
