Odd Brake Flapping Noise

Hey Fellas,

I have a 2005 V8 and I noticed when cold like pulling out of my driveway, etc when I put my brakes on I hear these weird flapping type noise and feel these noise coming from the pedal. I'll let go and press the pedal again and it will often not reoccur. Any idea of what this is?

You think it may be the ABS/traction control resetting??
I'm not even sure what I mean, but when I back up, then select Drive, I can hear a "flapping" or "clicking" that is part of the ABS resetting or something. I know it's normal, just not sure if that's what you're hearing??

hmm, this occurs without switching into the drive gear... it is a heavy pulsation in the foot that sounds like flag flapping in the air

Just when you back up? Does it speed up as the vehicle does? Not sure what it could be, but hope you figure it out!

maybe the dust/brake guard is touching the disc(s)?
