Odd intermittent electrical problem

Hey folks, I've got a small issue that I can't seem to figure out. It's only happened twice over the past month, but it's enough to bug me. On both occasions, I had been driving for a fair amount of time. I got to where I was going but wasn't going to be there long, so I didn't kill the ignition. Whenever I tried to shift back into drive again, the shift lock wouldn't let me. When I tried to turn the ignition off, it would only let the T4R die and wouldn't release the key. I started it again, and then everything worked fine. Say whaaaaa??

This is the only known issue with the T4R. Everything else is in top working order. No CEL's or anything.

Did you try the over ride button? Kind of sounds like the park/neutral position switch giving you a warning. Might check it, clean it and put some dielectric grease on it. Luck!
