Odd whining

So I rebuilt the entire top end of my engine, new heads new gasket new injectors, the whole she bang. plus a new radiator, new fuel line, new fuel filter new thermostat, new water pump. Also put in a s&b intake(highly recommend one!) Well a week or so after all this I had a sudden whining noise. Sounds just like when a power steering pump is low. But only whines when on the gas and gets faster as the engine speeds. checked all my belts and everything is good. all fluids are full. Sooo... what the heck is it? is there something else i should be checking?
Please help i'm pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. :ybrick:

Are you sure it's in the engine? Or could it be a diff gears or a wheel bearing?

Does it whine when idling? Does it whine if you rev it up when stopped? If no; it's likely a drivetrain issue.

Through it on jacks and run it up to about 15mph I thought my whine was a wheel bearing since I had just done them. After putting it on jacks and running up to 15 mph I found that it was a u joint.

Wheel bearing, joint or diff, you'll be able to tell with it sitting there spinning.

It might be your alternator..

It's an auto. Does whine a bit when first started, but mellows out once warm and doesn't do it again until on the gas. Just had the ball joints replaced and greased all points.

Only when moving or even if sitting in neutral with RPMs up?
