Yes I'm looking forward to getting this installed.......They will be sending new tweeters along as well as the Sub-Woofer. So I'll have to see which tweeters sounds better as well.

Just got shipping cnfirmation today, so hope to have installed by the end of next week.:guitar2:

Just wantd to let you all know that I received my OEM system on 2/8. Package up very nicely. Wanted to install this weekend, but under weather and will have to put off tll next week sometime. Also my account was credited the $70 some dollars for shipping the next day. So all is well. :zoom::zoom:

Well it took a freind and I just under 3 hours to install the system last night. There were a few differences from the install video to actual install. Would have been about 2 hours if we had the hind sight. Everything was designed to a tee.

I'm happy to say the results of install are outstanding!!! :music: The EQ set almost at flat now and sounds is great. The imageing is WAY BETTER. There was a 10 decibel gain at volume setting 34.........Pretty impressive. Didn't sound like that much due to clarity of sound.

As far as the sub goes, I'm pleased. Plenty of UMPH for my taste. EQ on bass is only set up one notch now.

So all in all, I'm defeinaly happy with my purchase.:bravo::bravo::bravo:

So the OEM Audio tweeters sounded better? And you left the Focal 6x9's in the doors? I may have to just say screw it and save up more to do the whole system with OEM Audio stuff.

Yes, I like the OEM's in the dash........The more I listen to them, the more I hear the fuller and more rounded sound. Still happy with the 6x9's in the front doors. There's lots of price points out there for the 6 1/2" rear speakers. I love the Morel Tempo Ultra 602 Integra's, though there are a bit expensive. They can handle all the power you can throw at them, with a full well balanced sound. The magnets look like there about twice the size of the OEM's. The 4 Runner is ROCKING!!!

Glad to hear everything sounds great! I also received mine however I have been waaaaay too busy to install it. What tips and tricks do you have on the install? That way I don't have to worry about hindsight haha!

I guess the main thing was running to power cable to battery.......In video it showed going through the passenger side firewall. The way the power cable was in the harness, it was better to run down in behind steering wheel and out through grommet on drivers side. The other stuff were just fitment things. I would just recomend watching the video a few times before install and you'll be fine.
 
Comparisons

Anyone with the OEM system in the Shreveport Area? I want to do a comparison to my 1500 system built using Digital Design components. Thanks
 
doesnt it look like the subwoofer in the back covers that factory door. whats in that factory panel cavity behind the subwoofer?

Me...had it since the first special order so about a year I guess now. Where are you located? I work in San Francisco and live in the east bay. Maybe we can meet up if you’d like a listen. I’ve been extremely pleased with the system
