OEM Key Fob

Hello again,

I'm sorry if this subject has been posted already but I couldn't find it. I have a 2004 4Runner SR5 V-8. I have 2 OEM Key Fobs that came with the truck when I bought it new from the Toyota dealership. Both key fobs have stopped working and I believe it's the batteries that need replacing. My questions are as follows:
1. What battery size do the key fobs take?
2. Once I replace the batteries, do I need to reprogram both key fobs even though they are OEM's and not after market?
3. If so, how the heck do I do it?

Thank you yet again for your help,
Mike

First Google search result turned up this: http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/...-Control-Battery-Replacement-Guide/index.html

No you won't have to reprogram.

Thanks Matt, that's going to be at the top of my "things to do list" in the morning.

FYI!!! It is a 2016 that you need the 2032 is too big, I just changed mine. My wife has an 06' Matrix and it is a 2032, I have an 04' 4Runner. No programming will be required.
