OEM or not OEM?

I need to replace the cats, both front and back.
My mechanic suggests replacing them both at a cost of almost 2 grand.

I can get aftermarket cats for around 200 each.

its the labor that jacks the cost up so high, buy aftermarket & do it yourself.

Sounds like time to do Doug Thorley long tubes and offroad y-pipe along with a catback system. You could probably do all of that for under 2 grand.
