OEM satellite radio for 07 T4R

After some serious searching, I finally found a new radio for my 07 T4R. I picked up an OEM type 2 off eBay that is a 6 disc changer with satellite integrated into the AM button.

I'm looking for an OEM satellite kit for this. I want something that is Toyota genuine and Toyota verified but don't want any cheap knockoff. I found some in eBay for about $300. It looks good to me but I don't know exactly what I'd need ie all the parts. What are the main parts I'd need to make satellite work in my car while still having the aux functionality and steering wheel controls.

If someone could help me out that would be swell. I do appreciate it.

Receiver

You need the PT546-89060 fit kit and the 86180-0W032 receiver.I just saw a reciever and Sequoia fit kit go for $100 on Ebay.The fit kit comes with a mounting plate,antenna and wiring harness.I purchased a fit kit and receiver and ran the wiring harness all the way to the back by the jack and velcroed it in so I can take it out if I decide I don't want it anymore.It took about half an hour to do the entire install.If you have time,keep watching Ebay,you should be able to pick one up pretty cheap.If you go new,you can get the receiver for around $180 and the fit kit for about $85 shipped online.

Thanks for the helpful info. I have been checking eBay and I've seen a couple different ones for the 4runner. I've seen three different receivers with three different part numbers 86180-0W030, 86180-0w031 and 86180-0w032. All three have the same fit kit with PT546-8900.

What is the difference, if any, between the three receivers? Does it matter which one I purchase? Is it dependent on the year/model vehicle for Toyotas?

Receivers

I don't know the difference in the receivers.You can call Sunnyside Toyota in Cleveland and ask for Gary in parts.He will sell you parts at wholesale prices.He can tell you what the differences are in the receivers.Get a price from him on what you are looking for.I have purchased from them before and saved a lot of money.

I don't know how much money you want to spend,but I picked up a Scion Alpine Premium hu on Ebay for $202 shipped.It has HD radio,is plug and play and has rca preouts.The sound is great and I love the touch screen.You can also add plug and play nav to it with the Xm receiver and a usb port.

where's the best place to put the antenae...on the roof? inside on the dash? i've seen and heard on this forum people doing both...which do you think is the best?

also, can you provide pictures of your setup? i might just have the dealership do it anyway...

(866) 472-1783,that's the number that I use,you just ask for Gary in parts.I don't have pics,but it is just velcroed in to the area with the jack.I was able to run the wire for the antenna around the hatch and put it on the roof.I have Xm in my work truck and lay the antenna on the dash,I don't get very good reception.
