Hey everyone.

If you were thinking about upgrading your speakers to the Focal IS 690TOY components for the front, I'll install them for you. Just supply the speakers and I'll supply the driveway, tools, and expertise.

Other members have requested a writeup and pics of the install, so I want to do that but I'd rather install the speakers in someone's ride than take mine back apart.

I am not charging anything; you just have to be okay with me taking pics of everything as I do it. The install should take no more than an hour including photo time.

For those that don't know, this kit replaces the dash speakers with tweeters and the front door speakers with woofers. These were designed to be compatible with the factory head unit's impedance and power. I am very impressed with the sound quality!

Let me know if anyone is interested! Open to all 5th Gens with the non-JBL stereo. (Standard, Entune, Entune Premium are all fine, just no JBL)

BTW: I bought the scratch and dent speakers and they were perfect. Might as well save the money!

Yes a gentleman...I just got my 2015 TP and speaker upgrade is on my list. If I was closer I would take you up on this.

Might I ask what speakers fit for the other locations?

Yeah of course.

The dash speakers can be done as custom tweeter mounts or up to 3.5" speakers.

The front doors can be 6x8's, 6x9's, or 6 1/2", most all would need a custom mounting plate.

The back doors and rear hatch can accommodate 5 1/4 or 6 1/2's with a mounting plate.

Quick question: The factory wiring harness clip at the dash speakers have 4 wires. When some (on this forum) have replaced it with aftermarket speakers/tweeters, they needed to add jumper wires to maintain the door speakers.
Does the Focal speaker wiring harness automatically take care of this (literally plug-n-play functionality) or did you have to modify by way of jumper wires?
