Like I said, whatever the group consensus is, I'm totally ok with. I'm fine with the option of spending a few extra buck, but I'm also not married and have no kids. I was just thinking it would be a way to avoid people feeling bad for say not spending more or people who get a lower priced gift having jealous thoughts.

Might also get more people into it and force a bit more creativity! Just some food for thought.
