Official 3rd gen 4Runners on 37's Pic Thread

This thread is full of awesomeness! LOL, now that I have my limited for street duty I'll cut up my 3RZ for 37's! :first:

Thanks bud! It’s got as good of an approach angle as I’ve seen out there. Once I get the skids back on it’ll be really tie in well. It overlaps the front crossmember where the skid bolts up to create one giant skid

Honestly I feel like the front end needs another round of trimming and cutting. Although it lasted a week in Moab with almost no rubbing in the front, I wasn’t going to hard on it as it was also my first run on the new setup. As of now the fender is cut to right below the mounting holes for the factory flares. Then the flare itself is completely gutted on the inside. The flare needs to get cut again at the bottom of the rounded top section. Past that I’m relatively out of options besides remounting the flare higher.

The rear is bone stock. Needs some trimming on the flare sections that mount to the rear door but apart from that spot I don’t rub at all on the flare. I kept the back tighter than most by running 4.5 BS wheels. It actually tucks inside the fender lip.

I am running 4.1 BS wheels and they seem to do OK. I have been having a hard time getting excited about drilling holes in the fenders/doors but I just need to get it over with.

Beadlocks didn't look like this by the end of the Dusy

I guess it’s about time I get in on this!

I started with 36” Irok’s on IFS…

After a couple years of breakage and reliability issue’s I chopped the front of the 4Runner off and replaced it with this! I also installed some 37x13.50 Cooper STT Pro’s.

I looked briefly at your build thread and couldn't find it. How much body lift are you running? I really want 37's on my rig but I'm not wanting to lift the body.

My riims look like I took a belt sander to them after the Dusy. Serves me right for going to a wider rim. I'm really considering putting the stock rims back on when I go to a bigger tire.

That’s because I never really updated my build thread haha. I keep telling myself I’ll do it but I get lazy or end up reading other peoples threads instead. I did end up going with a 1” BL. It just would have been ridiculous without it. At full bump with a body lift I hit the inner fender where the battery and fuse box are. Without the body lift it would have been a significant amount of work relocating pieces and refrabricating the inner fender. You could probably limit bump a bit, but wheres the fun in that! Plus I already had to cut the firewall a ton. Had a couple spots I couldn’t even see from the inside without starting to pull the dash. I’ll post a couple pictures of the tub when I’m back at my house.
