First Time Off-Roading

This was from a few weeks ago and was freaking awesome!!!

4Runner really surprised me with it's abilities that day (plus a few guys driving around in a modified Jeep XJ (older Cherokee) with 34s). This really is the perfect "do it all vehicle". I'm fully initiated now into the 4X4 club, having sustained some pin striping, kissed the skids once or twice and bent up the passenger side running board. Best part (well besides not rolling it LOL) was driving home afterwards, filthy as a pig on the outside, but clean, comfortable, quiet, air conditioned cabin on the inside doing an easy ~~~kph on the hwy home listening to some tunes. :thumb3:

I'm more than convinced no other vehicle can do everything this vehicle does as well as it does it out of box from the factory. Great job Toyota! :hail:

P.S. My enthusiasm for this vehicle was fully renewed that day. If only the interior didn't scratch so damn easy and acceleration from a stop was not artificially restrained it would be a perfect 10/10 SUV! For now it's still a pretty damn good 9/10 :bravo::guitar2:

P.S.S. As fun as playing around in the mud was, I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER DO IT AGAIN!!! HOLY MOTHER @#%@# $H!T I WAS CLEANING THAT CRAP OFF OF THE 4RUNNER FOR WEEKS!!!! :mad2: :yell: Literally, three power washes, two hand washes plus a complete detailing of the engine bay and I'm still finding dried caked on mud here and there. It literally got everywhere on the outside of the truck. If air could touch it, then muddy water got to it too. F#%@!!! LOL
