Hey Dudes, anyone else have something they want to work on during the meet-up? So far, we have a possible rear spring replacement.
On another subject, here's the main course I have planned:
Grilled Blue Cheese Burgers
Grilled Marinated Skirt Steak
Grilled Marinated Chicken
Baked 4 Cheese Pasta
Heart Attack Garlic Bread
For those that are coming, please bring something that would compliment this meal as a side dish or bring some sort of snack or dessert. And of course, bring your beverage or vice of choice.

Still up the air if I can get clearance from the wife and baby. If I do, I'm down. I hop on the 680 same as you I think, just comin west on 80 instead of east.... I'll probably get ditched since I drive like a weiney but worth a shot if we can arrange.
Due to recent professional changes I have been forced to suspend my "vegetarianism" however I still possess a fair about of earthy gifts and I can't just toss it. So if I do come, I'll pass it along to you. Somebody might as well enjoy it.

I live out in Brentwood so I will be heading down 680 out of Pleasanton if you want to meet up on the way down.
If it starts at 10am, we could probably meet at 9:15-9:30 in Pleasanton maybe off Bernal Ave and 680 at Safeway.
Still working on my contribution decision but I will for sure be bringing a side dish. Maybe pasta salad or something.
Hey team - my 1999 Highlander edition was totaled last week by a FedEx driver. It's currently at a tow yard in South SF and the insurance company is waiving the salvage fee, so I can keep the car. Unfortunately, I live in the city and just don't have anywhere to store it. The driver said is pretty warped from the crash and the passenger rear tire popped off. There is probably some rear axle damage.
Would anywhere here want it for parts? I loved it and am bummed to see it just go to a junkyard. The three remaining tires are only a little over a year old. I replaced the timing belt/water pump, starter, battery, brake pads, and rotors within the last 18 months too. I have no idea if it's worth much but figured I'd throw it out there to see if anyone was interested.

Sorry to hear that man. Hopefully insurance was able to compensate you fairly for it. Are you looking for another 4runner to replace your current one?
If I had money, I would probably look at picking up the hood and maybe the seats from you.

I smell a video shoot for Saturday. I went to a Pick N Pull today but the 3rd Gen they had didn't have a sunroof. So, I went home and started tearing apart my rig a bit. I finally know where all the drains run. I didn't have to take my headliner off. The front drains go down the A-Pillars. The passenger side rear drain exits under the rig near the bumper. The driver side rear drain exits into a tray that you access by pulling away the plastic trim in rear cargo area. I worked weed whacker wire through all the drains and it looks like we'll be able to clear your drains Mark.
I also think it would be fine to shoot a little air pressure up the lines because there's no way we can blow the tubes off the fittings going from the bottom up.
As a final step, we can pour some water into the sunroof channels while the the sunroof is open and make sure all the drains are working.
What do you guys think?
