Offroading with ARB Rep in ARB FJ Cruiser

Here are some pictures of my 4Runner, running with the ARB FJ Cruiser over a rock trail this weekend. I couldn't be out done by the FJ's, I took all the hard lines and went right for the rocks. Like usual, the pictures don't acurately portray the rock surface. The old 4-Runner did great, and has a knocked up drive shaft as a battle scar. But I have a spare, I knew it was only a matter of time.

something tells me your 2nd gen can easily out do things the arb fj can not.

Yeah it probably can, but still that ARB FJ has every ARB option available for it and then some and is riding 35". The guy is a really great trail guide, he's out there almost every weekend and makes it look easy. He usually aims for the hardest line himself, he got almost stuck twice, but some wiggling and some skinny pedal got him out. Often he is the guy that needs to winch out, but he's also the guy that takes his truck in first, and then everyone else just avoids what ever got him stuck. It's nice to have ARB pay for your replacement parts I guess.

I really wanted the looks stock, came from the factory look. It isn't very solid though. Just 2 brackets hold the bumper ends in place. I need to weld in a angle steel from the winch mount out accross and then bolt that chrome bumper to it. Otherwise now it just looks pretty but the chrome will not survive an impact.
