The V8 filter is right under the front section skid plate, very easy to get to. I take it off before draining the oil to give it time to drain and let the oil around the deal drip off so I can be sure to clean it off/ check for damage. If I went to firestone and they did something like this, I would demand that "tech" be terminated immediately. Why knows how many other screw ups he's made and people haven't noticed. they'd also be doing a second oil change the CORRECT way, replacing my skid plates, and replacing my tire. I don't stand for shitty customer service, that's why I usually change my own oil, do most of my maintenance, and don't go to places knows for shady stuff like this. For example: I don't go into Dunkin Doughnuts expecting Starbucks like service, so instead I go to Starbucks in the first place to avoid having my mood ruined by someone who hates their job so much, they take it out on me. Same thing, I don't buy a Ford/ GM and expect it to run like a Toyota, so I buy a Toyota in the first place to avoid the headaches. I hope after this you won't be returning to Firestone, at any location.
