i have a 89 toyota 4runner with 200k and the rear leaf springs are tired.... what is my cheapest options to give these things some life.... add a leaf looks like a pain in the @SS.... what else could i do... any junkyard springs that are the same size from another year or model? leaving the FRONT IFS alone just doing the back leafs

Google "zuk mod". Lots of cheap options there.
Add a leaf is easy though. You can do it with the springs on the truck - remove the ubolts, jack up the truck by the frame until the springs are off the axle, wrap up the leaf pack with several stout zip ties, unbolt the center pin, add the leaf, put it all back together. If you think that's a PITA, you won't like the Zukmod either.

on my 89 4x4 PU I took a leaf from a late 70's / early 80's chevy front pack & added it to the rear spring pack. I did have to notch it a bit to clear the U bolts. Empty it rode a bit stiff, but it lifted the hell out of those old tired springs!
Best pic I have, lost most all of my old pics when my hard drive died. Before it had aprox 3" of sag (the original owner was a firefighter & carried all his gear in it. so the weight killed the springs.)
& yes it was an extreme PITA! the chevy is not a mild curve like the toyota. Its more of a U shaped spring. I broke 3 6" clamps trying to get them compressed together. But finally got it with some help from a friend (much easier with 2 people running the clamps at the same time
