Hey CSL, any updates? Don't know what off-road shop you were at but I was at Slee Off-Road in Golden just a couple of days ago talking to them on this very topic. It sounds like they recommend the medium duty coils for most applications, and the heavy duty coils if you're running aftermarket bumpers and/or a lot of expedition gear. As others have mentioned, a little bit of rake is good for this exact reason. I don't think you would want it to sit perfectly level when it is empty because you will get sagging when it is loaded. It sounds like you should go with the medium duty coils at least, and if you go with a new rear bumper, the heavy duty might be even better. You should give Ben at Slee a call. Let us know what you come up with....
