OME BP-51 Suspension System -- Anyone yet?

I know patience, I have been waiting since they release the Fj version and there were some great pricing on them !
But what is hard to understand is that ARB AU has the Prado 150 released for over a year now and they have a specific kit as well as different left strut for the kdss version , so why is it so difficult forARB USA to figure it out when both prado and 4Runner share same or similar suspensions.

Well all I can say is that it's almost comical that we are where we are with ARB and this setup when we are now entering the 8th and final year of this generation of 4Runner. I sent them an email last month asking and received nothing back.

I do not second guess that the core of FJ kit works for our vehicles what I am hesitant on is getting brackets that put our reservoirs in an acceptable location without having to cut, modify and or hack on to keep them from jutting out or dangling in the wheel well.

It's like never releasing a pair of shoes because you need to make a different shoelace.

BP-51 for the 4-runner.

Hey guys, just wanted to give you a quick update on the BP-51 for the 4Runner. I spoke to ARB yesterday. They said they are expecting it any day. I have a feeling it's really close because before I was being told 2-3 weeks. I am an authorized dealer for them and so as soon as they have them in stock I will be ordering a few kits to have in stock. These will be first come first serve so if your interested make sure you contact me soon. I'm sure they will go quick. What are we looking at for a total price for the kit

It is between this setup and a King setup.. As soon as there is something definite that will help my decision.

I'm debating the same thing with myself. You end up getting this kit for ~$700 less than the price of the Kings (with compression adjusters). I like the idea of being able to dial in the ride in both cases (if someone can talk me out of comp adjusters on the king please do) mainly because i'm worried i'll install a suspension set up and be unhappy with the ride (mainly that it ends up too stiff)

NB ROB went with Kings but only did the compression adjusters in the rear and is totally happy with his setup. I am still waiting to hear back from King as I would want to change the color of them since they are a bit too blingy for my Super White TEP. I don't think I would be happy with how they looked. The Kings also require you to remove them for some adjustments whereas the BP-51 allows you to make adjustments on the vehicle.

I believe custom color is $300 a pair. I've seen them in black instead of blue and it oooks awesome. Not sure if I'd spend 600 on it though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they waited until SEMA to release the new lift, but when they do, its MT sliders, BP-51's with Stealth wheels and Duratracs...my credit card is going to explode in my pocket.

Spent some time wrenching on the 4runner. Don't like the way the driver side reserve is mounted. Need to call about that.

Set the preload on the front to 15mm. I have an SSO front bumper and warn zeon platinum 10s ready to go up front.

Can you give us an update on how your liking the system...I'm getting itchy to lift my truck and I might just say F-it and get the FJ system...Did you get the resi location sorted?

Those of u out there who have the fj versions on your vehicles, could you chime in on amount of lift , if still at factory settings and if you raised or lowered them and what procedure did you use to adjust ride height. Did you need to remove and use wall mount compressor or wether it was possible to do while still on vehicle ?

BP-51s on my 2016 4Runner

Just installed The BP51's on my 2016 SR5 4Runner (NO KDSS). They are working perfectly and lifted the vehicle about 3". Added some Mickey Thompson Baja STZ LT275/75R17 and is looking awesome. Next project is a hidden winch mount with a 12,000lb winch.

Sits on top of the frame with the bracket, and you can re-attach the "mud flap?" thing back in position. The res in this pic is to the left, tucked and hidden.

Goes against why so many get reservoir shocks, to show them off and not actually use them.

Would love to hear more about this lift. Ride quality, more pictures, etc. Glad someone finally installed these.
