Yeah I sometimes think I'm making to big of a deal out of this but if its 6-10 months down the road before I get a bumper I don't want probs. I wouldn't think the 885s would be that much of a prob w/out a bumper/winch. They are only 10mm longer, same spring rate so they really shouldn't be any stiffer, just alittle extra length for added weight. I really need to make up my mind. What would you do. I do all the installation myself so I'm really thinkin about havin the front assembled for me , so its pretty much plug and play once I take off the spacers and x-reas. I have heard regular spring compressors might be a PITA w/ OME springs. Anyway, If I didn't think I was gettin a bumper/winch anytime soon I'd get the 884. Do you know anyone with a V6 that's running 885 w/out a bumper/winch. THANKS

I had the mediums on my Tacoma with an All-Pro tube bumper, winch, custom sliders, and full Budbuilt skid plates and I wished I had gone with the heavy. I had recommendations for the medium because mine was a 4cyl (1995.5), but with all that stuff the front sagged and didn't feel like it had enough spring off road.
Does anyone run the 886 on a 6 cyl with lots of stuff?
I just ordered the ome 886 and 895 with the 90021 softer valved struts up front. Someone else said that they shouldn't be paired together. Does anyone have any knowledge about this. I am just really worried after spending so much coin. Thanks
