The KEY. I bought the one from Amazon (Amazon.com : Ignition Key Blank for Toyota Camry Avalon Prius Sienna Solara (CHIP#4C) : Automotive Electronic Security Products : Car Electronics) and programmed it using the instructions in ultimatt's post.

On this issue, be thankful you don't live in Canada! Everything is more expensive here, but car keys are ridiculous! At the dealership here in the Sault, they want $384 for one chip key (programming included - how generous!), and $640 for a key with Fob! .............. I kid you not! :crazy:

So I really appreciate the info above on how to program my own.

Those prices are about parr for course. Maybe just a little more then dealerships down here, assuming we are taking about a 2015 model. If you are talking about a later 3rd generation then yes I agree that's robbery!

I unfortunately only have a valet key so am totally screwed as it relates to getting a new key programmed!

I have the valet key and had no issues when Home Depot did mine. I assume it's the valet key as it doesn't lock/unlock the glove compartment.
