its a spam. they'll probably tell you they're in the military and are being shipped over seas so they need to get rid of it fast. pretty common scam. i almost fell for one of these when i was 17, except the price was a tad bit more reasonable than that.

I once bought a 1972 911 Targa from a person in a similar situation. It turnout to be legit we transfered title through DMV. And I drove away from there like I stole it. Never hurts to check things out, just walk carefully.

Sob story as well as a good reason why the price is what it is. Think about it this way, how many grieving mother's would make such a nice ad on a vehicle they know they could easily get more for?

I fell into one of these when i was 17 also. It was for a 2006 Lancer Evo. She said just the same thing, her son just passed away and wants to get rid of his vehicle. I got that exact same story last year on a silver Tacoma. It was listed in my area but when I asked to see the truck they gave me the story that supposedly their son lived in Florida and died there and the truck had to be shipped, blah, blah, blah. They wanted $2500 wired to them and then they'd have the truck shipped. I call b/s.

Florida? I will check Gunther Kia, looks like they are the last one who sold that truck legally. Hopefully someone can call the owner so he can initiate an investigation.
