On board air for V8 4th Gen

Hello all,

I am gathering parts for my 2006 4-runner V8. Front and rear ARB lockers are on the list but can't find information on air compressors that might fit under the hood. What are you guys running? Sammy

If you are going with ARB lockers I would go with ARB compressor. That way I would have a clean system. Actually that is what I am doing. I have the ARB single compressor mounted under the hood and I am getting funds together for the locker, rear only.



I think Crashman did a neat setup using VIAIR in the compartment where his spare tire was.

As mentioned earlier. installed on passenger fender between the intake and 2nd battery. i also installed a Blue Sea fuse box over on the driver side to add a second layer of control and protection.

I've been reading the Viair 400H is a good system for filling tires,etc for about $200.

Others recommend the MV50 for a portable device for much cheaper.
