On-Board-Air Setup. Quick check?

My question revolved more around the illumination on the switches as opposed to the compressor itself. I am going to be running it so that it only works when the car is on, but I appreciate your insight anyway!

Roger that! I ran both the illumination and control part straight off my fuse panel. I know others have tapped into existing circuits so that it only will run while started and the switch is only illuminated while lights are on.
