Just a heads up for anyone thinking about a DDM kit, bought mine about a 5 months ago...worked great nice and bright. Went w/ the 55w kit in the 8000k color, didn't buy the optional harness. I know what everyone is thinking, way too blue and not functional. But after reading the reviews, the site said that the 55w bulb's color will tend to wash a lot, and it did exactly that. 8000k looks much more like 5k or 6k, bright with just a hint of blue.

BUT unfortunately one of the bulbs now flickers slightly and the other one has seemed to have "faded" to more of a 4300k, so I emailed them about my problem and surprisingly they responded back the next day. Said I should return the bulbs, on my dime, and they would replace them. Sooo we will see how this plays out.

I have a 5K kit for my low beams and fogs from V-LEDS. Much more light output over stock. I do get flashed a bit from people thinking my hi-beams are on. I do have the factory projector headlights too.

Did you get the thin ballast or the larger one?

I have the thin and using 4500k. BTW the bulbs are the same between the 55w and the 35w...only the ballasts are different.

I currently have 6k 35w in my lows and a 3k 35w in my fogs been running HID's for years in my Runner.

Love the 3k in fog, works well.

Today I am pulling out the 6k & 3k setup and putting on a new bumper with 06 headlights so I will replace the 6k with a 55w 6k HID full setup for the 06 projectors with squirrel finder mod done.
