Newbie, 1st post...

Picked up my 4runner Monday, and Tuesday someone scratches/scuffs the interior of the door at the parking garage...

Any ideas how to remove them or buff it out??

do you mean the the interior door plastic or painted metal?.

Plastic some Armour all or other product like it will do the trick.

painted metal if they are light scratches just plain wax or a compound will do the trick.

It 's all on the plastic...

I don't like Armorall for interiors, it's too greasy.

I have recently been using Vinylex and it works really nicely for all the plastic on the interior. It leaves a nice satin like finish that is not too slippery or shiny. It's not the best at cleaning, but it leaves a great finish.

I have used it on the exterior cladding too (mine has the textured charcoal colored cladding).

It's fairly common, I got mine at the parts department of my local Toyota dealer.

Scraps of plastic are visible, so based on experience, whatever I shine it up with will just cover it up for a while...

Ghost, I see you're trying to change to a Scion headunit. Does that allow you to retain the surround sound that the JBL has? What are the advantages of the Scion unit?

Searching the threads, several people have done it, with very nice results...

Sounds like more power, some DSP option, and a 100% fit with the current wiring(if it's a standard 6 speaker)... Oh yeah, MP3 & XM capability, too...

I'm looking into it, but it sounds like a relatively inexpensive upgrade...

Thinking about doing it, if I can find one at a reasonable price...

EDIT: It's looking like I was wrong, and it doesn't work with the JBL 10 speaker system... It's still a nice upgrade for those who can use it...
