One touch unlock feature

Mpower, this option is not in the manual and it doesn't seem like we can do it by ourselves. It requires the computer and connection that the dealers have.
I too want to do this.

I for one, considering the possible security issues, prefer to have the doors unlock by manual input. For me, I only want the driver side door to open unless I hit the button twice. And if any of my passengers feel they have to bail out as soon as the vehicle comes to a stop and can't figure out how to roll the lock button to the open position, I will gladly explain. Or they can wait the 1-2 seconds it takes me to open them from my door control. I also put my briefcase and other items in the rear going to and from work, and no longer mind having to remember to hit the button one extra time to open them. I'm just glad the doors open and close the way they are supposed to, not like my old S-10 the SR5 replaced!!!

Just wanted to say thanks for the help! I programmed it yesterday and I love having the unlock feature when shifting into park because I usually have things in the back seat that I need to get out for work and this way I don't have to press any buttons to unlock all of the doors. This is my first Toyota and its little things like this that make me happy I got rid of my Explorer.

I programmed it yesterday and I love having the unlock feature when shifting into park because I usually have things in the back seat that I need to get out for work and this way I don't have to press any buttons to unlock all of the doors. This is my first Toyota and its little things like this that make me happy I got rid of my Explorer.

I always approach my 4runner with my AK-47 on full automatic and the safety off. Then I lobe a smoke grenade under the 4runner and take a neutral position that gives me another angle of observation until the smoke clears and I can see that my ride is clear. I then sweep it for explosives and check the mirrors look both ways and back out of my reserved space. I also hate to have to hit the remote twice it really adds to my routine. :arrow:

Thank God I park at the Embassy. They do all that for me...:50cal:

I would love to be able to hit my button once to unlock all the doors, and was just trying to do this today, but could not get it to work on my 06 limited. Attached is a copy of the directions I was following for the RS3200... but as far as I know mine could be a RS3300 or something different.

Does anyone else have a procedure like this that worked for them other than taking to the dealer to have them try to do it for you?
