Those of you who purchase tires at places like tirecrawler.com or tirerack.com, where do you have your tires mounted and balanced? Will most tire shops do it for a small fee?
I would find the tire balancing machine you want and start there. I suppose that would cost about as much as tax would? Shipping seems like a deal killer though.
Mount and balance depends on the tire size. 31's should be about $60 for the set at the most. Try discounttiredirect.com they have free shipping and no sales tax.
x2. find your best price online and then go to any discount tire and show them the price online and they will match it, Get the tires and install them for you. By the way discount Tire has reciently changed their policy on selling road hazard to you if you purchase your tires somewhere else. It used to be that you could purchase road hazard form them as long as your tires were pretty new. But now unless you have a new car or buy form them they won't sell you road hazards. But since they will match anybody on any tire it doesn't really matter.
Did you know that store is regional?
