So my 2017 TRD Pro 4Runner came with both coil seats on the lowest setting on the front suspension. After several back and forth rounds with the dealer I do not think they will correct the issue without me paying $$$ for it. They have repeated to me that despite the fact that the drivers side normally comes one level higher, the fact it came from port a different way is how it should be left as that is "factory settings".
Regardless of their opinions of how it should be left, I plan to correct the driver's side lean somehow. My question is this:
Would you think it is better to raise the coil seat on the driver's side to the higher setting or add a top spacer to correct?
I have already installed the 1 inch Toytec coil seats for the TRD Pro. The spacer I would look to use is the Toytec 1/4" top spacer. My lean is sitting right at 3/8" lower on the driver's side. 3/8 may be OK for some, but to me I would like to get my ride as close to level as possible. Suspension is not really my thing so I am not sure which of the choices has the most overall negative impact on ride quality and other parts (CV axles, etc.)
Thanks in advance!
