Opinions on my LC80'S paint job! PICS PICS

so after these past couple rainy days in SD finally got back to the sunshine and started painting the LC80 rims i got.

They were pretty beat as you can see from the pics, thats just one of em and all of the 5 i got were about in the same condition.

Sanded, Etching primer, Filler primer, base coat.

For Both of them I put on the Flat Black base coat but I was really curious as to what a bronze would look like, so on the spare tire i got with the purchase i added a top coat of bronze i added some pics compared to the flat black.

LMK what you guys think!

I still need to find a store that has the Graphite color paint in stock so that's why i didn't add that yet but I'm debating if i should go all bronze like in the pics, or instead of Bronze on top i add the Graphite,

OR if you have anything else to say just throw some ideas out there thanks!

I like the bronze as well BUT, if it was me, I would go for the black just because your 4runner is silver, a lighter color as well..

well just to clarify my runner is a Thundercloud Metallic so a little darker than the millennium silver colored runners. but yeah thanks for the input man

I used Duplicolor Perfect Match Universal Flat black paint. Thanks

looks great man! where did you get that paint? is at a rustoleum paint? a friend of mine painted his LC wheels with a rustoleum paint he found at home depot and its very similar in color, a dark metallic bronze. it looked awesome! cant wait to see it on your rig.

All kidding aside, this is a perfect example of what a little elbow grease and time will get ya. Some SICK SICK SICK wheels that look brand new!

Oh and I vote for the flat black.

I think black would look good since you have that black front bumper. If you had the stock Thundercloud bumper I would say bronze. Either way looks good though IMO.

Check a paint job that Fightman80 did on his original split spokes. He used a color called "gunmetal" and it looked awesome.

Its Duplicolor Perfect Match Flat Black base coat with Duplicolor Bronze wheel coating on top of the black. :]

Thanks for ALL the replies guys but sorry,

I'm gonna go ahead and paint them the bronze color

Mainly because I was never really a fan of black wheels because I feel like they are just too plain and common,

But I really like both of them but the Bronze experiment really convinced me haha.

I like how its still dark shade and its not really too bright and not too dark and yeah.
