Optimum Spark Plug gap for V6?

I\ve done some reading here and elsewhere, and it seems there is no 100% consensus on the Plug Gap for the V6.

The Owners manual states : 0.043.

Yet I've seen some others using 0.41-0.42.

What are your thoughts?

Okay I set my to 0.042, they were all pretty much that from the parts department.
