Ordered the PedalMonster by Banks

I have been waiting awhile to do this... pulled the trigger today and got the PedalMonster,... I heard a lot of negative stuff on this forum about the Sprint Booster and the Pedal Commander so I am gonna try the Banks one out... Banks for the longest time have made really good exhaust systems for RVs and Turbo Diesel trucks... I will post an update after I get it.

Curious about this option as well. One thing that seemed like a negative for me is that you have to keep the unit plugged into your OBD2 port the entire time. No set it and forget it like some of the other options out there.

Interesting to know your thoughts. Although, IDK what it is people don't like about the SprintBooster. I found the one mode that I really like and leave it on that mode 100% of the time, it's fantastic.

IMO, these things are all the same, but again, I'm not switching modes or anything, it has it's one purpose for me and that is all.

Running premium gas helped with frequent downshifting. I have received responses on this forum indicating after so many tanks or miles detecting premium fuel, the 4Runner will advance timing further.

Could be folklore but I was in the mountains and had plenty of torque carry me on highway uphills in 5th gear, between 1600 and 1800 RPM.

I 2nd the sprintbooster. Installed mine, set it and forget it. I just wanted a little better responce, not changing modes a stop lights to drag race my brick of a vechicle, Wanted want I would call NORMAL peddle responce and thats just what I got with sprintbooster. Very happy with my purchase,

i heart my spring booster also....

When i drive my friend's modded 4runner who doesnt have any pedal/throttle modulator, I fall in love with the sprint booster all over again..lol.

I set it at 7 and leave it alone. Now with 4.88's....it is a perfect daily driving combo for my fully armored turtle.

Anyways, back to the original topic...can't wait to see a review on the pedal monster... love to hear about new gadgets n gizmo's and whizzbangs.
