Just ordered a new rear door latch. Since this 04 seems to be falling victim to the "My hatch won't open" trend that seems to be taking place with these years.

Here's a pic taken tonight after I washed both of my cars (wife's neglected Matrix is still in the garage)

I seem to be noticing a color trend on my cars....

Cleaning up the gallery section in preparation to clean up/delete some subforums. Moved your build to the 4th gen section with the others.

ordering a front set of Bilstein 5100's and daystar 1.5 rear spacers next week. Me and a buddy of mine are doing the install. I will upgrade the rear struts to 5100"s later on.

Also going to pick up some 1.5" square tubing and make some rock sliders with my father-in-law.

All of my plasti dip has been removed and I spent the afternoon scuffing up the fender flares with a scotch brite pad getting it ready for painting this weekend. I will be installing my lift on June 15. I also removed my running boards. starting to plan the design of the rock sliders.

Spent the day on Sunday sanding rock rashes off the faces of the stock wheels and painted them with VHT gun metal wheel paint. I do not recommend this paint. it was very difficult to get a smooth finish, and I have quite a bit of spray paint experience. I finished it but ended up compounding the wheels to get them smooth.

I will paint the toyota logo black soon.

While I had the wheels off I found that both inner CV boots are leaking at the small end due to the stock retaining bands being no longer existent. I have ordered some replacement HD rings, and will replace the grease in the CV's.

Looks great! Where did you wire those rear bulbs in the reflectors? And do sockets just pop in there? Never thought about this mod before but I am now!
