For that price I wonder if ykk zippers and Velcro similar to jeep soft tops connections with joints might have helped fitment and leak issue.

I've been texting this morning back and fourth with metal designer and he thinks that a new rear adjuster bar he's designing will fix any fit/leak issues. He's going to send me a new design in about w month after testing. So we'll see on that. It does have top quality parts ykk zippers and Velcro.

Thanks all! Great news, the gentleman that actually designed and makes the cage for the top has offered to make a whole new updated cage with various upgrades/changes and trade me out for my old one (since I have the first one on the market). He's still working on some changes so this may be a month out or so. He also feels this will fix any fitment issues. This is a huge integrity move imo and I'm grateful for the quality customer service!

Having side mirror glass replaced and I'm repainting them and changing all the hardware to SS while I'm at it. Found a wasp nest, thankfully dead!

I didnt know if i would like mine after i installed it but well worth the sub $20 price tag to get a wider and slightly lower mirror centerline and the fact that the mirror is bevled from the center out actually allows to use the mirror

Yeah I love it. My only real beef is now my visors won't clear it to go flush with the window. Small issue for the benefits.

I bought those mirrors off a guy on IH8MUD, but then I broke the mirror. Doh! A local glass/mirror shop is replacing both of the actual mirrors. I'm crossing my fingers they don't mess it up! I don't usually have the best luck with vendors/shops/contractors. I'll post up the end results.
My gf calls that a first world problem... Mine does not interfeer at all with the visors in my 2nd gen... Have the top section of your windahield tinted you wont have to use the visors nearly as much.. Only time i use my visor is to pull my insurence card

Ok so I need help making a decision. We still have the white 4R. I'm wanting take several misc parts off it. Then cut the front clip off (there's damage on the front of our black one) and the rear passenger quarter panel. Also hood, passenger fender and tail gate (maybe doors too).
Question is do I scrap the rest or would someone actually buy the rest for $500ish? Thanks for your thoughts.

I need some help please. We are selling everything we don't need to take to Honduras when we move and I have my dads old set of wrenches and sockets. I want to put a separate set together for the 4R for field repairs. What sizes would you keep in your rig (wrenches & sockets)??? I'll pull those out and sell the rest. Thanks for the help!!!
