I haVe an 85 rrunner and I jus recently added a pro comp lift 4in and some new tires and wheels.. the wheels r 16 and my tire size r 285/75/16. Does any one kno how to caculate the size of the tires. And also would. These tires cause tthe runner to over heat do to not regearing I heard u only need to regear with 35s but not sure.. if anyone could help thank u..

Technically, the tires wouldn't cause the engine to overheat. However, since you are now pushing a 32.5 -33 inch tire, you will always be pushing a slightly higher RPM to get the rig moving. If you have another issue going on in your cooling system, that could push it over the top.
Also, if you just put the lift on, make sure that you didn't cut a heater hose or something or one didn't crack with the install.

hey man thanks yea i blew a piston.. so its rebuild time. still not sure whyit over heated but guna re do all the cooling system, thanks for ur help.
